3. Collection, processing, and use of your data
The type and scope of the collection, processing and use of your data differs depending on whether you only visit our website or use services offered by us.
a) Visiting our website
When you visit our website, the provider stores data in so-called server log files which your Internet browser automatically transmits to the provider, in particular:
- Date and time at which you accessed one of our Internet pages
- Type and version of your browser
- Operating system
- The last page visited (so-called referrer URL)
- The amount of data transmitted and the access status (file transmitted, file not found, etc.) and
- Your IP address and the requesting provider
This data is collected and used, in order to enable general use of the Internet pages accessed by you, for statistical purposes, to improve our website and for security against illegal cyber attacks. Your IP address is only stored for as long as is necessary to ward off and trace possible cyber attacks.
b) Collection of personal data on our website:
If you wish to use services offered on our website, e.g. ordering merchandise, provision of services, ordering gift coupons or newsletters, we require personal data from you. Personal data is data which enables a person to be identified, i.e. your name, your postal address, payment details and your email address. Personal data is only collected, processed and used by us if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection, processing and use of your data.
We collect, process and use your personal data within the scope of a statutory licence, in order to provide the respective service, to raise invoices and/or to implement a contractual relationship. The purpose of the collection, processing and use of this personal data therefore consists in responding to inquiries, delivering ordered merchandise, providing the required service, processing a voucher order or sending you the newsletter you requested.
Your data may be disclosed to supporting service providers (e.g.: shipping providers, payment institutions) for such purposes. It goes without saying that these have been carefully selected. This could concern technical service providers or service providers who support us in shipment or payment processing.
The essential data required by us can be found in the input form provided as part of the registration and ordering process. You can voluntarily provide other details which are not essential for the above purposes; they are marked accordingly in the collection of the data in the registration and ordering process.
Apart from that, your data is only disclosed to other third parties if we are duty bound in this regard or you have given your express consent to the disclosure.
c) Use of blog and comment functions on our website
If you use blog and comment functions on our website, we reserve the right to store your IP address exclusively for our security (e.g. for any prosecution of illegal statements).
d) Use of third-party content on our website
We reserve the right to integrate external contents and functions of third-party providers on our website (e.g. YouTube videos, external map services, external graphics, etc.).
If you view and use this third-party content on our website, your IP address will transmitted to the third-party providers, so that the requested content can be sent to your browser by the third-party provider. The transmission of your IP address to these third-party providers is therefore essential, in order to send the requested contents to the browser of your terminal equipment.
4. Creation of pseudonymous usage profiles
In order to optimize our website and enable you to use it and our services tailored to your needs as far as possible, we reserve the right to use your data for the purposes of advertisement or market research.
For this purpose, your incidental and supplied data is merged in pseudonymous usage profiles and evaluated internally by us. These usage profiles are never merged with the data of the bearer of the pseudonym and not disclosed to third parties on any account.

9. Questions / comments
Information about Google Analytics:
It is important to us to design our website in the best way possible and therefore make it attractive for our visitors. In this regard, it is necessary to know which parts of our website are well received by our visitors.
For this purpose, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google") on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will normally be transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the United States. We use Google Analytics with activation of the IP anonymisation on this website, i.e. your IP address will be abbreviated by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other countries which are contracting parties of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, in order to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the sphere of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
You may refuse the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Refer to the help function of your respective Internet browser for information about the configuration of your browser settings. However, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
In addition to this, you can prevent the collection of data by means of a browser plug-in. This plug-in sets an opt-out cookie and thereby prevents the future collection and processing of your data by Google Analytics. You can download and install a browser plug-in under the link http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
You can also prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking the following link for the "Deactivation of Google Analytics"
Deactivate Google Analytics. In doing so, an opt-out cookie will be set which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website.
Information about Google AdWords:
We place online advertisements via "Google AdWords" from time to time and use the so-called conversion tracking from Google for the analysis and improvement of our AdWords advertisements.
If a Google AdWords advertisement is clicked, Google stores a cookie on the terminal device of the user for so-called "conversion tracking". The cookie enables Google to ascertain whether the user made contact after clicking an advertisement (e.g. whether a user sent an order or a contact request via our website). These cookies lose their validity after 30 days. The conversion data collected by means of the cookies cannot be assigned to specific visitors but only allows Google to provide us with conversion statistics data for the analysis and improvement of our AdWords advertisements. You will find further information on the technical functionality of Google AdWords and conversion tracking under this link:
If you as a user wish to disable conversion tracking for Google AdWords advertisements, you can disable the automatic setting of cookies in general in your browser settings or instruct your browser to only block cookies from the following domain via an opt-out cookie: "googleadservices.com". Refer to the help function of your respective Internet browser for information about the configuration of your browser settings. Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not want conversion tracking. If you delete all of your cookies, you must set the respective opt-out cookie once again.
